Our client is a manufacturing company in the plastics industry who has experienced extraordinary growth over the last few years. They have sought our assistance with the improvement of their QA/QC systems, operating practices, performance measurement and supply chain optimisation.

We are seeking a specialist to support our team with root cause analysis of variation in the key quality specifications, the development and implementation of control measures to maintain the product to specification.

The successful candidate will most likely have:

  • a background in QA/QC processes applied to a continuous manufacturing environment,
  • proven experience in delivering outcomes in a manufacturing environment,
  • strong analytical skills,
  • an ability to engage with both the shop floor and management, and
  • previous consulting experience.

The engagement is envisaged to be about 6 weeks, though the actual duration will be determined in conjunction with the client during the initial scoping phase. Ongoing implementation work for the right candidate is expected.

The initial work is based in Sydney. There is the potential for the work to expand to sites in Melbourne.

The successful applicant will work under the direction of a Kiah Lead.  Much of the work will be undertaken independently.
