Course Overview

A one-day off-site experiential program, preceded by a short (maximum of 3 hours) online module to introduce the theory.

When you need to deliver a lot but lack capacity, and hiring permanent staff may not be the best solution due to time constraints and the need for the right expertise, turning to consultants or contractors can be the best solution. But how do you ensure that you get the most value out of this process and partnership?

This course covers:

  • How to structure better approaches to market
  • How to engage services that give you the most value
  • Breaking down consultant costs

Government asked, we listened

We’ve been vocal about the drawbacks of body shopping—it’s low-value and high-cost. While using contractors for resourcing is limited, you can contract services for outcomes and delivery. problem we have seen from many clients is they have forgotten how to buy, and have sadly experienced too many partnership contracts not deliver the value they want.

So how can you ensure that the service you want is accurately translated to industry through the approach to market and contracting process?

We have been running private courses for clients on ‘Engaging contractors and consultants,’ which we have delivered as a repeat course due to being oversubscribed. We are now offering this course publicly, including ongoing support and advice for attendees.
